The Carnivorous Plant FAQ Field Trip Report -

Being Stupid in Ontario in 2003

Return to the Trip Overview

Different plants:
These plants, while brightly colored, have very fine, faint venation; not quite normal plants, but not veinless, either. It is interesting that the margins of some of these pitcher hoods are smooth and non-wavy (for example, at the center of the photograph) while others are scalloped (for example, at the right).

Obviously, this contrasty photograph was taken without my diffuser--this was the first time I had used it and I was still experimenting.
