Since these photographs were of fairly small subjects, I was
able to use my diffuser hood to help. This diffusion hood is actually just a big translucent shower curtain. It does wonders to cut the
harsh light, and at this point I rarely go into the field without it.
It is hard to believe that this image was shot at high sun, on a burning bright, cloudless day!
