Bladders!
This discovery was certainly well-received. That filamentary mass is Utricularia gibba.
A nice set of plants, too, some with surprisingly large bladders. Sorry about the blurred
image elements. Bits of stuff were floating around on the water surface for this 5 second
exposure.
And near the Utricularia gibba were some other carnivorous plants...
