Sundews:
Continuing my circuit I saw two sundews growing on the mossy flats--Drosera rotundifolia and Drosera intermedia. The plants in the photograph above are the latter species.

I had my hand lens with me and looked for hybrids, but did not see any. A few of the plants looked a little strange for Drosera intermedia (their petioles were very, very long), but the stipules and seeds were entirely normal for the species.

The plants in the image above are mostly submerged in water. You can see a few shoots of U. geminiscapa at the upper right.
