Sparkles
Notice that the plants are photosynthesizing rapidly, and the oxygen they produce become lodged in the bladders. As a result, the bladders sparkle brightly. Might this dazzling display function to attract prey?

While this water is crystal clear, as I walked I kicked up countless chunks of decaying debris from the pond bottom. I had to continuously move forwards, in slow moon-man steps, to avoid becoming swamped by my own cloud of debris.

However, after a few moments of stillness, the debris settled back to the bottom, so I was satisfied I was not doing any significant harm to the habitat.

In front of me, the waters grew deeper. What would I find there? I approached cautiously.
