The Carnivorous Plant FAQ Field Trip Report -

Western Australia in 2007

After oohing and aahing (and gleeful yelling) about the Byblis gigantea, we continued another 10 km along the highway to another stop rich with carnivorous plants, although none were new to me. Even so, it was wonderful to look at the plants which I had come to think of as familiar friends.

I was mindful that this was our last field day in Australia, so I tried to emphasize looking at the plants without a camera between me and them. Accordingly, I didn't generate as many photographs as usual. But this Drosera menziesii attracted my attention. Here is another view of the same plant.
