And of course...
...we saw flowers of the omnipresent Utricularia multifida. In this photograph you can see three of the four calyx lobes that were at one point considered important enough to merit putting this plant into the genus Polypompholyx. The genera Polypompholyx and Utricularia were of course subsequently merged. However, Allen still playfully refers to the flowers as "trollies" (Polypompholyx, Polly, trolley).

By the end of the day, I was too.
