The Carnivorous Plant FAQ Field Trip Report -

Western Australia in 2007

Return to the Trip Overview

I was distracted by this graceful cluster of pincushion-like Stylidium rosettes, that Allen Lowrie later identified for me as Stylidium ciliatum. It reminds me of an Agave! One of the rosettes is just starting to produce a furry little inflorescence.

Time was running low, and thoughts of leaving were creeping into my mind, when Beth announced she found more Drosera marchantii. It is such a pretty plant I joined her to see.
