A wonderland:
The trees increased in spacing, and perhaps because of this the sundews grew denser. I could just see Beth and Phill moving among the trees ahead, when I was stopped by this spectacular grove of Drosera gigantea. The red leaves in the background belong to Drosera menziesii.

You probably figured out that this is not the first Drosera gigantea we saw at this site. Yes, the odd photograph I showed you earlier was of D. gigantea, shot from straight overhead.
