Fan-leaves:
Oooh, now this was perhaps even more exciting! A fan-leaved sundew. This is Drosera purpurascens, or if you rather, Drosera stolonifera subsp. compacta.

Some specimens were small with only a few leaves. Other plants like these formed little heaps of vegetation. But even the largest plants had a somewhat messy, confused look to them. They didn't quite have the ascending grace of the Drosera stolonifera (or, if you prefer, Drosera stolonifera subsp. stolonifera) that we had been seeing the day before.
