Pitchers conversing
This is perhaps my favorite photograph from Splinter Hill.

A bit of personal trivia. When Beth and I got married, our wedding colors were red and white to match Sarracenia leucophylla pitchers. At our reception, the centerpiece of every table was a big pot of Sarracenia leucophylla--potted plants, not decapitated pitchers.

Sarracenia leucophylla produces two sets of pitchers each year. The fall crop tends to be larger and more showy, so Beth and I got married in the Autumn. Geeky, or what?

Here's another view with a vertical composition.
