The Van Eseltine

This is a small but exciting set of illustrations portraying plants that have sometimes been considered carnivores, but that The Artist has relegated to the slums of noncarnivory or paracarnivory at best.

The collection started, O so long ago, with but a few images of Ibicella lutea, that arid-land "devil's claw." But in intervening years our collection expanded to include Passiflora foetida, Capsella bursa-pastoris, and more! Beautiful, elegant, mysterious. Just like The Galleria.
