Naczi North: Sarracenia purpurea
oddities
You may be scandalized to hear this, but the lovely
Sarracenia purpurea leaves the Galleria staff, at times,
"scratching their heads" (as the boorish public might
say). In this room we relegate the oddities of the genus that inspire
such unseemly behavior. The "veinless" forms of Canada, the
unclassifiable intergrades of the Midatlantic coast. We leave these
taxonomic conundrums for the cognoscenti.
